When the reverb plugin is placed on an auxiliary track and fed using track sends, set the Mix control to 100 (all the way up), and balance your wet/dry mix using the host mixer.
When the reverb plugin is used as an insert effect, use the reverb Mix control to set the wet/dry mix to taste.
