Laura Katić is a Colombian sound designer, musician, and music producer specializing in sound synthesis, electronic instruments, and gear-based workflows.
She works as a sound designer for international music technology brands such as Arturia and Excite Audio, creating presets and sound content for software and hardware instruments with a strong focus on expressive synthesis and character-driven sound design. She also collaborates with independent artists as a producer and Ableton Live instructor, guiding creative processes from sound design to production and live performance.
Her sound design work spans multiple genres, including cinematic, darkwave, pop, trap, chillwave, future electronic, and ambient, blending technical precision with artistic exploration.
Laura has extensive experience in hardware-based performance systems, working with synthesizers, drum machines, samplers, sequencers, and modular setup tools she actively uses and teaches. Laura is also sponsored by Arturia, Torso Electronics and Modal Electronics.
